Usually stay in this one when I'm in London with work.
It's dead handy for Euston Station. Christ what a hovel that place is. I hope they are gonna spend some money on that before they start welcomin visitors for the Olympics.
Incidentally the Ibis used to be called Ibis Euston but since they moved the Eurostar Terminal to St Pancras the Ibis marketing monkeys have renamed it.
I always find this Ibis a bit noisy. Ironically its best to ask for a room which fronts onto the road at the side of Euston Station. Quite busy during the day but quieter at night and early morning than the rooms at the rear of the hotel which get all the noise from the kitchens and the endless delivery vehicles. Nice bar area though. Breakfast area gets busy but is typically Ibis breakfast style except for these kind of bacon calzoni things they have introduced which are vile. Stick with the cereals and yoghurts.
You can leave your bag in a secure room after you check out and pick it up when you want. Ask for a ticket at the desk.

Corrections: 1) English Breakfast is no longer on. They are since introduced healthy continental buffet breakfast. 2) You can leave luggage but you must collect same day before midnight. 3) It's no smoking hotel, only 16 rooms on the 5th floor are smoking rooms.
They have new rooms now. The price is reasonable considering the area and location. Mind you, they have a cheap basement car park on the edge of the congestion charging. Don't forget 28 pounds for 24hrs parking is not bad, I found the new car park machine very helpful. Staff are always busy, tired and very professional. This particular Ibis is like an airport terminal. Busy !!!!
Dear John, For me, I found this Ibis very quiet comparing to many hotels in the Eustn & Kings Cross area. I use to work for Grant Thornton on Melton Street, I know the hotel better than you. Also, this hotel have Management serving at the reception desk, bar and restaurant, I don't know because it's not what I have seen in many Ibis Hotels Nationwide.
True enough. I guess it is fairly quiet considering where it is
